Divisional
Commissioner IAS Neeraj K. Pawan narrowly escaped a sword assault after
arriving with a team to rid Sarvodaya Basti of encroachment in the district
(Divisional Commissioner IAS Neeraj K near escape in Pawan Talwar attack). The
young guy Neeraj K was angry with the attempt to remove the encroachment, so he
swung at the wind. The cops rescued the IAS official and removed him. The
accused young person has been placed under arrest.
First, the
young guy warned IAS Neeraj K Pawan and the anti-encroachment squad not to go
beyond his bounds while brandishing a sword. The young guy unlocked the gate,
and the policemen continued despite the danger. As soon as he entered, the
angry young guy swung the sword. When he tried to hit the IAS officer with the
sword, there was a stir in the police administration. The police guard saved
IAS Neeraj K. Pawan from the sword assault.
Divisional
Commissioner Neeraj K. Pawan personally escorted the Nagar Vikas Nyas team to
Sarvodaya Basti in response to claims of illegal occupation and encroachment.
He promptly started demolishing the encroachments. Soon the Divisional
Commissioner was pursued by a young man with a sword.
According to
reports, a police officer tasked with protecting the Divisional Commissioner
saved him from the sword assault. After hearing about the entire incident, MP
Colony CI Arvind Bhardwaj immediately rushed to the site with other police
officers. When the protesters noticed the heavy police force coming, they
departed the area.
Divisional
Commissioner Neeraj K. Pawan claims that during the encroachment clearance
operation, a young guy swung a knife and came toward me. I was lucky to have
made it through. After that, CI Arvind Bhardwaj and the police team came to the
site, captured Vijay, and started questioning him. Encroachment will never be
tolerated anywhere. There will always be an attempt to get rid of the
encroachment.
