Banswara locals will recall the reign of the first divisional commissioner, Neeraj K Pawan
Neeraj K Pawan created unique works that became examples
The state government established Banswara as the divisional headquarters and appointed the dynamic young IAS officer Neeraj K Pawan as the first divisional commissioner, a role he completed. As requested, the new administration has rewarded Pawan for his efforts by reassigning him to the Jaipur headquarters. Pawan has done many unique things throughout his stint as Banswara’s first divisional commissioner, and the people of Banswara will remember him for a long time.
Neeraj was a hero of transformation
Pawan spent his early term establishing the divisional headquarters, and as soon as the new administration arrived, his work accelerated. Pawan’s name was on everyone’s tongue in every street, locality, hamlet, and town in the city, since his entrance brought a tsunami of change to the city and district, a wave that reshaped many people’s dreams.
Initially, perhaps not everyone agreed with Pawan’s anti-encroachment measures. But, with time, his hard effort hushed his naysayers. Whether it was the Mahi Colony wall or the road to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, he strove to develop Banswara. He demonstrated that any tough endeavor can be accomplished with the correct aim and fortitude.
An officer’s term might easily be spent on formalities. Being the principal guest, cutting ribbons, delivering command at meetings, and bidding farewell. This may have been the easiest way for his obligations. However, Pawan picked a route that few people were willing to take. Combating the heat of the sun, walking the streets, and listening to the difficulties of the people in the villages, he demonstrated that when an officer views his duty as a personal obligation, even the impossible becomes achievable.
Pawan is responsible for numerous noteworthy works
Pawan completed numerous notable projects during his term, in addition to the fight to eliminate encroachments in villages, towns, and cities throughout the Banswara division. Along with increasing the district’s pride by installing sign boards at all points along the Tropic of Cancer in the Vagad region, which has a unique geographical location on the Tropic of Cancer, Pawan attracted the attention of the country and the world to Banswara by organizing Cancer Sankranti for the first time on his initiative.
Along with developing an action plan for the tourist development of the Mahi islands, Pawan investigated tourism development opportunities in all of the division’s districts and arranged for correspondence to give them tangible shape. Pawan demonstrated his devotion to development by making numerous crucial initiatives to improve the appearance of Banswara. As divisional commissioner, he investigated several government agencies as a collector to improve working conditions. During his visit, the President organized a conversation event with indigenous women in unusual circumstances.
Those works that remain unfinished following Pawan’s efforts
1. Blocking the Kagadi Canal as it passes past the medical institution.
2. Taking back the cabins at the head of the collectorate road leading to the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and enlarging it with concrete to make traffic flow smoothly.
3. Connecting Shastri Nagar housing road to Dungarpur’s main road.
4. Establishing Banswara as a tourism destination.
5. Removing dust and dirt by asphalting the city’s dilapidated roadways and potholes.
6. Bringing Banswara to the forefront of cleanliness by cleaning and beautifying public spaces.
